The temperature was a pleasant 24 degrees when we started our drive from Lisbon to the small medieval village of Obidos but about an hour after we got there the temperature started to rise to around 35 degrees centigrade and the number of tourists by the busloads started pouring in.
I am going to buy an old bicycle and turn it into something pretty like this one.
We continued to look at the shops hoping to find unique products made in Obidos or in Portugal or in Spain.
There were lots of interesting items but I was not yet prepped up to shop. I just wanted to pick-up one or two items as souvenir from Obidos.
I was so thirsty but didn’t want to try their lemonade. I wasn’t sure if they also mixed it with a hint of liquor.
I found Obidos such a charming quaint village but the heat was giving me a headache. I wished it were ten degrees cooler.
