Having a joint Christmas party makes sense. Our employees get to know those coming from the other companies. They become friends too. When I ask them to call or ask a particular person, they don’t feel awkward speaking to a stranger from the other office. They develop camaraderie.
We started the joint party last year. It was held at Makati Ford.
This time, we were all at Ford EDSA. Next year’s host would be Cainta.
My daughter bought us masks because the theme is masquerade.
E——“Ha bakeet? Di ba pang Halloween yun?”
I posted these photos on Facebook. I had to indicate that I was going to a Christmas party and not to a Halloween party. They might think it was a delayed post. My sister commented “Ate, buti nilinaw mo”.
Edmund borrowed a mask that belonged to someone else.
Our caterer is the same year after year.
Super baduy naman ang buffet centerpiece. Parang pang cabaret.
Best dressed for the night, Unica and John Flojo, both from Makati Ford.
Our sorbetero came from Makati. Suki rin namin sya, tila 5 years na.
My son called my attention. He said I’ve eaten 4 cups of sorbetes already. I corrected him, 6.
Loyalty awardee, Edna Dator 10 years
We had one Bingo game, block out. Four people split the pot money of 10,000.
Photo with Makati Ford group. If we were complete, we wouldn’t fit in the frame.
Time to clean the kalat. This is Edcil. He also got a loyalty award. When one of the dealership’s building was under construction, Edcil was one of the laborers. Edmund retained him as cleaner. After two years, he resigned, then after a year or two he came back.
Just like last year, this year’s Christmas party was a happy one.
We all had a great time. All of them received a little something. No one went home empty handed. Most had two or three gifts from the raffle.
Merry Christmas to all our employees. Thank you for your loyalty and dedication. We appreciate your malasakit. We wish you and your family a blessed Christmas and a super prosperous 2016.
