My daughter and I wanted to try something new. We’re always dining at Shangri-la Mall more for its proximity to our residence. This time, the two of us ventured into SM Aura a little farther away from our comfort zone.
Lakad-lakad looking for a restaurant. I wanted to go to Lugang Cafe because of their oyster with black bean sauce which was really delicious.
Eh pagdaan namin dito sa Ogetsu, I browsed at their menu, I saw that they also have teppanyaki oyster. Then Oyen said she’s been wanting to have Japanese daw.
O sige dito na lang. In we entered.
The name literally means Goddess of Food.
We sat at the teppanyaki table
Oyen’s appetizer, spicy tuna sushi
Rice, prawns and chicken wait to be cooked
I was the only who finished this mixed fried rice.
There were 4 pieces of prawns per order
Teppanyaki prawns
We got one more order of teppanyaki prawns
The one thing that attracted me to try this restaurant was the oyster teppanyaki I saw on their menu displayed outside. Unfortunately, I didn’t like their oysters. They were very big. I preferred the smaller or regular sized ones that taste better and the meat are softer.
These giants oysters have a harder texture and the taste didn’t appeal to me.
