We had heavy Pinoy merienda at the sprawling vacation house of Girlie and Genju Lapez inside the Ochoa Farm in Binangonan on Good Friday before proceeding to the town proper.
Girlie’s sisters, Nene and Carol were there too, including her 3 adult children.
Instead of fasting and abstinence, we stuffed our bellies with delicious crispy okoy, guinataan sa bilo-bilo na may langka, pesang dalag, talbos ng kamote salad at suman sa budbod.
