It was a choice between Olive Garden and Red Lobster, both restaurants a stone’s throw away from each other. We’ve been to that particular Red Lobster in October last year so we picked Olive Garden this time.
I do like their facade. It’s so pretty. It’s made prettier by the window-high white roses.
Edmund ordered a plate shrimps appetizer which the two of us shared.
The very efficient and solicitous waitress gave me a small bowl of minestrone soup. She said she’s going to bring me a bigger bowl in a while.
This one alone made me full already.
This creamy white vegetable soup came with Edmund’s order. He said it’s delicious but very filling.
We should have shared a plate of pasta, rather than having two separate orders. One plate was too heavy more so with the creamy sauce,
When I told the waitress I wanted spaghetti with meat balls, Edmund objected. Gaya-gaya daw ako, that’s his order daw.
So I switched to Seafood Alfredo.
No dessert space anymore. We’re filled to the brim.
The waitress got a fat tip from Mr. Yee. She deserved it for giving us a very good service.
