1. We spent an hour at the very cute dessert place called Tout Sweet Patisserie on the 3rd floor of Macy’s Union Square catching up on personal stuff like work, concerns about children, money, etc.
2. The LUSH store at Powell Street screams their support for the LGBT by having a very large poster on their display window.
3. These two guys were giving away hundreds of packs of Kettle Potato Chips. Two per person.
I got two too. Thank you Kettle.
4. It’s 6:30 pm, getting cooler. Ginaw na.
5. Let’s cross the street to Nordstrom, then to the BART station.
6. Teka, sobrang intense ang lips to lips ni Pepe at Jose.
7. This vendor unknowingly blocked my path.
He’s selling the green t-shirts for $8 and not marijuana. I wanted to help his business but I didn’t like the print. I don’t want to indirectly promote the use of marijuana.
8. We got off at the Bayfair BART Station upon Bong’s instruction. 28 years ago, the Bayfair Mall near this station was my father’s favorite mall. It had Macy’s, Montgomery Ward, etc. But after a few years, the place deteriorated and more people from the low echelon of society frequented the area. We stopped going there. For some reason, Bong now prefers to use the Bayfair station which he thinks is a few meters closer to their house.
While waiting for Bong to pick us up, I became paranoid and watched the people walking by with utmost caution.
A——-“Len, mukha tayong rich. Baka biglang halbutin ang bag natin ay wala tayong ka-depe-depensa”.
Kimberly told me she and her classmate witnessed a girl got mugged at 2 pm while walking at the Bart parking area.
