1. My most recent find, creme and sugar bowls from Limoges.
2. The most delicious kalamansi, not too sour and almost seedless. I had tinapang bangus for breakfast and it was perfect with the kalamansi, ohh sarap.
3. Our chicken died from heat exhaustion. One rooster (we only have two, now only one) including a few teenage chicks dropped dead from abrupt changes in climate. Climate change hello! Heat a-la-frying pan, sudden bursts of rain, strong winds = Dedok.
4. Eating not one but two bowls of hot lugaw is the perfect way to start my day.
5. Juicy Hollywood gossips keep me entertained for a few minutes. It keeps my mind off my worries for 15 minutes while I flip through the pages. eFing nanny?
6. Spending an hour for afternoon tea, just by myself.
Tuna croissant and some fresh fruits, and to quench my thirst, Sprite.
And ube ice cream!! It melted faster than I could slurp it. Ang init kasi.
7. It’s been three years that I can’t find my favorite brand. The company that manufactures the only kind of panty that I liked and have been wearing for a decade may have closed down. I was probably the only one patronizing their jungle panties. It’s time for me to move on before all my remaining panties get butas-butas. These are two choices for my next fashion style, the white is my reality, the gray/pink is my fantasy.
8. My husband has been feeling sick lately. Maybe from init at lamig. It’s hot outside, then when he goes inside the office, ginaw naman. And even if it’s too hot, his love of golf causes his bumbunan to burn under the heat of the sun.
I think he has sinusitis or allergy. We bought a bunch of oranges from the grocery.
I manually squeezed each one.
E——-“Tart, mapapagod ka, gusto mo talaga yang gawin? Lalaki muscles mo”.
When I had cough a few months ago, he bought several kilos of oranges and also did the same thing, he squeezed each and every piece of orange manually. For me. The only difference is he’s got bigger muscles.
9. I bought a pack of fresh button mushrooms
I dumped them in the old kawali without oil or water. Eto nasunog. Dumikit dun sa kawali.
I wanted to pair the mushrooms with this t-bone steak. Kaya lang nasunog nga. This steak is so thick. The outside was cooked perfectly, medium, but there were parts that were so rare (raw). I sliced them into smaller pieces and tumbled them back into the pan.
10. Oo nga naman, Life’s a Garden, let’s just dig it. Here’s hoping our lives (including all yours out there) bloom / grow and bear good fruits.
I missed this…so happy you’re back!
Hi Cecile. Thank you.

Stay happy! 🙂
