1. Edmund’s friend Boy Sablan is the new coach of the UST basketball varsity team. ED was Pido Jarencio’s assistant before. My husband wanted to be a training assistant. I discouraged him kasi baka madagdagan pa stress nya sa buhay. Sabi ko basta miron na lang sya. O kaya waterboy, tiga abot ng tuwalya or taga-massage pag merong pinupulikat. He attended the team’s practice game against Mapua with coach Atoy Co and assistant coach Ed Cordero. He also had lunch with the UST officials and joined the team’s dinner last night. Kawawa naman daw yung restaurant kasi buffet. Young adults especially athletes can consume 5 pieces of steaks in one sitting.
Nagpapatangkad pa. I suggested that he brings the team to Viking’s.
2. Our cook asked me yesterday if I wanted tokwa. We’ve had tofu na several times already in the past three weeks. I answered, ayaw ko mukha na akong tokwa.
3. The girl Edmund hired supposedly as laundry woman turned out to be a better cook than our cook. One afternoon, I saw her preparing isang bandehadong lumpia. She cooked six pieces for me and Edmund. I liked it with white vinegar, galic and pepper. A few days ago, I saw her preparing a lot but she has not cooked some for us. Nahiya naman akong humingi.
4. I wish the store’s fascia boards would include their complete address just like before. It’s very helpful and informative to visibly print the kalye at bayan.
Lea’s Burger. Include at the bottom #__ Rizal Street, Binangonan, Rizal.
5. A very young boy works for the ice vendor in Pritil. Mabigat yung binubuhat nya baka hindi na sya tumangkad. I paid P20 for the ice and I gave him twenty bucks tip (100%). Pagka abot ko nung pera, takbo na sya dun sa sari-sari store. Ewan kung ano ang binili. I was pretty sure I was the only customer who gave him a tip. Or if at all, baka piso lang ang bigay sa kanya. Kawawa naman. Saan kaya mga magulang nito?
6. For sale: Four hundred seventy seven million pesos penthouse condominium at Park Central in Makati City. If I have P477 million I will build my own condo tower.
7. Thanks God it’s Friday husband and wife date at Cibo in Shangrila Mall- pasta con pasta.
8. I noticed there was a bazaar at the mall’s lobby when we were on the escalator going down. I told myself I would just come back. It’s been a week baka they’re no longer there.
9. Every thing in our ref smells and tastes like langka. Let me know if you love langka, I will give you some.
10. The mom of her bf gave her a box of chocolate biscuits containing 6 pieces. Last night Oyen gave one to her dad and she ate one. She asked me if I liked it. Yun pala she thought I opened the box earlier that day and ate one. Oh oh, I did not. She asked all of us except the maids. Wala sa amin ang kumain. Where did that one chocolate biscuit go?
