Last month, my daughter invited some friends over for a simple birthday dinner at our home. To decorate our house, instead of buying cut flowers that are expensive and short-lived, I bought some orchids from a garden along Katipunan Avenue in Whiteplains. They are cheaper and last longer. See, its been a month and the flowers are still blooming.
