We took the train back from the Kowloon Park Station to Sheung Wan. Our hotel is just two or three short blocks away from Des Voeux Road in Central.
I have been to HK many times but this is my first time to stay in this part of Hongkong. This is not a tourist area and it’s always better to see the way most people live away from what the outside world can only see.
This gold store is so tiny. The inside is not even one square meter. It’s amazing how the owner is doing business in a very cramped space and yet flourish.
Sheung Wan is uphill
This spa is few steps from our hotel. I would like to try this next time.

We went back to our hotel in the afternoon to rest. Their lobby is under renovation.
Old people take naps. We woke up at 7 pm and started our city exploration again.
One man – Tailor shop. Imagine what one persistent person can do to earn a living and thrive.
It was 7:30 and some of the shops are closing.
We walked along the main road looking for a Chinese restaurant,
We ended up inside an H&M store. They close at 10 pm , naka habol pa kami.

Ewan ko ba pero I don’t wear fashion accessories. This looks similar to my Christmas tree decoration.
This looks nice but maybe not on me.
Let’s try on clothes. I have no more clothes to wear, puro luma na, and the new ones naman are waiting for my weight reduction program that might not even happen anymore.

The material is very soft and silky. It hugs on my stomach
Para akong lumpiang ubod. H&M‘s size is bigger because I fit in a size SMALL. Can you imagine that? Pero yung stomach area, medyo kumakalang sa tyan ko.

Haba ng pila sa cashier
There were many kababayans shopping in the store too. Ang iingay at parang ang gugulo. Medyo nakaka inis ng konti yung mga babae, parang mga ewan.
I went to the basement looking for husband number one.
Edmund likes to wear colorful golf attire. Bagay naman sa kanya.
I waited for Edmund for about half- an hour. I wanted to help this guy fold back and arrange the clothes.
