PAL’s lugaw toppings

I was surprised to see the newly renovated PAL’s Mabuhay Lounge in NAIA Terminal 2. Nice sya, similar na to the other international lounges.

I wasn’t hungry kasi Edmund and I ate first before he brought me to the airport. I couldn’t resist eating PAL’s now world famous arroz caldo (lugaw) with toppings.

  1. I notice they serve Cavendish bananas instead of lakatan or latundan! I think it’s funny how higher-class places in the Philippines tend to do that – as an American, I think the native bananas are more flavorful and better-tasting. I guess it all depends on what you’re used to.

    1. Cavendish bananas take a little longer time to ripen than the native lakatan and latundan that’s why hotels, restaurants serve them instead.
