I checked in at the Paris Las Vegas, the same hotel Edmund and I stayed at two weeks ago. I booked for three days only because I intended to transfer somewhere closer to where I would be going daily while here.
I was amazed at the people I saw walking at The Strip. 115 degrees guys!
I wanted to stay at the same room 2279 but it was occupied. I was given room 2016 and was informed that this room actually has a higher room rate because it has a better view than room 2279. They charged me the same.
Room 2279 has no view but it’s quiet and no smoking. Room 2016 is also quiet, no smoking, and has some view.
When Edmund and I were here two weeks ago, we never walked along The Strip. We just stayed in the room.
This time, since I was my myself I was free to explore. I was actually tired and didn’t really want to walk outside but I was starving. I had to go get some food. I went down at 10 pm thinking maybe it was no longer as hot. Mainit pa rin but the establishments’ aircon kind of cooled the sidewalk and there were mists.
I walked towards Bally’s looking for a place to eat but I was hungry. My last meal was the small sausage sandwich at the airport.
After I walked past CVS, I reached a cluster of smaller restaurants and boutiques in front of Bally’s still open at past 10 pm.
This wasn’t here yet when Edmund and I came to Vegas ages ago when we first attended the automotive accessories show. We stayed at Bally’s. Paris was not built yet.
I went inside a Ramen place.
I ordered ramen misu with chicken karaage. $12. It was good.
I was happy with the noodle. I was glad I found that place. Right beside it is an ice cream station. This is pistachio flavor. Not sweet and it’s delicious.
I asked the guy what time they close, he said 5 am.
O—–“Really? People buy ice cream at 3 in the morning?”
Guy—“This is Las Vegas”.
