The airport shuttle dropped me off right at the driveway of Park Lane Hotel in Causeway Bay, Hongkong side at around 2:30 pm.
I only have a small handcarry so It was easy getting off that small coaster.
The hotel lobby looks nice and this hotel maybe a 4 star.
I paid $300 a night thru an online site hotels.com. The rate for friday is higher than sunday and monday, plus taxes kaya umabot ng $300 for a total of almost US$900 for my 3 nights here. There are more luxurious rooms if you want to spend $400 a night.
The room is spacious, a lot bigger than the rooms at the Excelsior Hotel. The room size is as big as the rooms at the Marco Polo in TST except that the toilet in Marco Polo is twice the size and Marco Polo is 5 star, hence, the ambiance and decor are more high end.
But this is good. I like it too.
My room has a partial view of the city, harbour, park, pwede na rin.
When I travel, I’d like to stay in a good place so I could be more comfortable, relax. Most especially when I am traveling alone. I take my time, no hurry to go out, I stay in the room, just looking out the window and enjoying the view.
I checked my bag and unloaded some stuff to lighten teh weight before I start walking around the streets of HK.
I counted my money and from the HK$725, I still have over five hundred Hongkong dollars.
I am feeling hungry, it’s 3:30 pm and let’s go eat some fish ball hofan noodles soup.
