Cheap play cards from Costco my son bought for a dollar each. They were stucked together when we opened the box. We had to separate the cards one by one.
At 12 midnight, mother instigated gambling by playing cards with five pesos taya.
First two games were called Monkey-monkey, third and fourth games were Crazy 8, fifth and last games were Pekwa. Since pekwa would entail more time and effort, we increased the bet from five to fifty pesos. The last game was a hundred. Hayun, ako ang talo.

Hi, Miss Annie! I just started reading your blog a few weeks ago and I read all your entries down to the oldest entry. I just found out that Oyen and I are schoolmates, I am also having my MBA. 🙂
Your posts really cheer me up and I pray you stop being sad. When bad things go your way, just count… Your blessings! More power to you and God Bless!
Dear Danica,
Hello, thank you for reading all my posts. Thank you for your concern about my sadness. I truly appreciate your advice.
I told Oyen about you. Please do say hi to her when you see her in school.
