Millions of people from all over the world converge here. Many crazy romantics propose here, right in the middle of the street. If you feel lonely and wants a hug, then you can have it for a dollar.
If you miss your youth, then Minnie and Micky are here too.
Times Square is only a retail district, with restaurants, souvenir stores, and buildings with facades that are covered with digital screens as large as the building. It has expanded to include the side streets, with theatres, comedy clubs, and more restaurants. What’s spectacular about this place is not actually the place itself, but the feeling that it evokes when you’re here. The chaos, the noice, the lights, which could also be found in other cities. Chaos ba kamo? puro chaos sa Manila. But iba in New York. You haven’t seen the world if you haven’t been to America. You haven’t been to America if you haven’t seen New York. You haven’t been to New York if you haven’t been to Times Square.
Pls don’t feel bad if you haven’t been to America, or specifically in NY. There are large LED screens in Eastwood outside the Eastwood Mall. You would get a little “Times Square” feeling. Smile!
