After Noynoy Aquino was declared winner in the 2010 presidential election, his closest opponent, former senator Manny Villar was asked what he was going to do next after the grueling and most expensive campaign for the presidency. I still remembered his answer, that he would go back to his old job as CEO of his companies. Although Vista Land was already the largest residential developer at that time, his companies grew even bigger after Villar became active again. His stamp of success was evident in their more than 30 development projects that followed.
Vista Land develops not just buildings and houses, they develop whole communities. That’s the trend now. Big time developers put up practically a whole town, that’s well integrated into the houses or condo units that they build. Residents don’t need to go out of their villages. All the comforts and conveniences of urban living are brought to their doorsteps.
When you’re southbound along SLEX, you’ll notice a cluster of commercial establishments called The Lakefront, on the left side of East Service Road. I has groceries, retail shops, restaurants and banks. That’s the door to Crown Asia’s new development overlooking the Laguna Lake called Presidio.
Presidio at Lakefront is a 7 hectare gated residential enclave with studio, one bedroom, two bedroom units with balcony. Most have commanding views of the Sierra Madre Mountains, the towns in Rizal, Antipolo, and Laguna de Bay.

Presidio is a project of Crown Asia, a subsidiary of Vista Land launched in 1995. It has so far completed 31 projects in a span of 20 years.

Ms Annie the Lakefront could be seen from Slex. I didn’t know that there are new condos or houses there.
Those layouts are super-tiny. NY railroad style.
