Going to country or quaint antique stores is one of my simple joys and cheap hobbies. For a few minutes while admiring knick-knacks, handicrafts, antique finds, my mind wanders off from life’s concerns. Nalilibang ako.
I’d like to have a cute country store but I am sure my husband will not encourage me kasi baka dagdag stress lang kasi walang mag-aasikaso.
I really liked the creativity of the artist who put together this window panel with attached iron chandelier. I wanted to buy it but paano ko naman sya bubuhatin at iuuwi? Hindi kasya sa maleta.
This small kaldero hasn’t been used.
I do my best to exercise restraint when I go to country / antique shops otherwise my house will be full of cute stuff. I know for a fact that some store owners here started as buyers / collectors. With their house full of items, they started unloading by selling thru flea markets or thru permanent stores.
Exercise restraint daw. Not all the time. I bought this bird feeder for $48 + tax. I hope the birds will like it. Can you see lovely Tinker Bell sitting at the edge?
I bought this tea cup and saucer with pink flowers. I saw four cute sets but I controlled myself and just bought this one set. So lovely. Just looking at his photo makes me smile already. Ang cute no?
