⛄️⭐️⛄️ Last year we had dinner at 7 pm in Red Lobster. I didn’t prepare anymore midnight meal or noche buena because we were still full from our dinner. Oyen, Nyke and I were up till midnight. Edmund woke up just before midnight expecting to find food on the table but I didn’t prepare anything because I was thinking the dinner at Red Lobster was already our early Noche Buena. We had opening of gifts.
For this year, we didn’t go to any restaurant. For dinner at 7 pm, we had mixsed green salad with left-over roasted chicken and pesto dressing.
While Nyke and I bought additional ingredients for tomorrow’s Christmas Lunch, ♀️Oyen cooked the beef sauce for the lasagna. When I came home, I just repaired it a little bit. It came out delicious.
Nyke prepared the fruit salad. This was our simple dessert. I wanted to bake some flat bread but we already have enough food for the four of us.
♀️ I roasted the prime rib. It took about two and a half hours before it cooked medium to medium-well. I placed it in the oven at 9:20 pm and by 12 am it was still medium rare that’s why we got to eat at past midnight.
I was happy I found this O Holy Night banner from the store, the only one left.
Nyke’s simple fruit salad. We forgot to buy Nestle cream.
Starbucks planner from her sister, a gift she earned by buying too much coffee.
She couldn’t guess what my gift was. She thought it was a bag. She couldn’t figure out how and where I bought this without her knowing and finding out.
I gave dear husband a set of tea.
I also gave him the gift I prepared last Christmas which he didn’t notice and open. Maybe because he already knew what was inside because of the supot Hugo Boss, so he didn’t open it na, and just left it under the tree for a year. Blessing in disguise, meron na ulit akong gift for him! I hope it still fits.
My kids gave me my favorite Chanel perfume.
