Long haul travels are very bad for my diet. I put-on weight while in the sky.
I was still very very full from three bowls of lugaw I ate at the Mabuhay lounge. I skipped the main course and just had soup. The soup was very creamy I couldn’t finish it.
I couldn’t pass up on the dessert. I requested for Haagen dazs’ strawberry flavor
but they only had Carmen’s flavor. I said fine. I ordered vanilla flavor. They didn’t have. The stewardess highly recommended that I try the coffee pili nut flavor. I don’t drink coffee and I don’t like coffee flavored desserts. But I obliged and tried this flavor.
Hmm she was right, the ice cream was delicious.
The coffee flavor was mild and the crunch from the pili nut gave it an interesting texture.
I was worried my seatmate’s red drink would spill over and ruin my bag.

This reminded me of the chocolate coin wrapped in golf foil we give away during Chinese New Year.
The flight attendants collected lots of left over food. Some passengers only took a bite or two from their plates.
PAL’s in flight service is always satisfying. They provide considerable amount of food that make me put on 3 lbs. while flying.
