Last weekend, the three of us went to Tagaytay for a quick getaway. Oyen had a voucher from Deal Grocer for Qi Wellness Living, a newly opened dining and spa destination, so we went to check it out. Didn’t know what to expect.
The building looks low key and subdued from the outside. If you don’t look closely you will miss it.
In contrast, the huge double door certainly attracts attention.
The multi-level industrial chic style building is a collaboration between the owner and the team of Buji Layug and Architect Pineda.
Since it’s new, we got to explore because there were no other people. It’s a very impressive space with a great view of the lake. You can have spa parties, events, birthday dinners and other celebrations here.
They have an Opium Den which is decorated like Old Shanghai. Here you can get reflexology and massages. This room may be booked for private massages and or exclusive functions.
Very soon, they will serve dimsum for snacks in between treatments. They also have degustacion menus for lunch and dinner.
The red leather massage bed can be moved around. They brought them out so we could have our treatment al fresco facing the majestic Taal Volcano.
They placed the three beds in the lanai or veranda in front of the yin and yang pool, facing the lake because there was still no electricity due to typhoon Glenda.
I could feel the cold but gentle breeze. The serenity, the mesmerizing view, and the relaxing massage lulled me to sleep.
This is so great. I didn’t want it to end. 90 minutes of bliss is not enough.
Yen had a pre-paid voucher for both of us so I only paid for Nyke’s massage, P1,880 plus P100 tip x 3 for each masseuse.
