The oldest and newest kid on the block shines ANEW. Rain or shine, but hoping it would not rain, Ford EDSA gears up for tomorrow’s inauguration.
We’re going to display the all new Ford Everest so that guests have something to look at.
The desire to have a very low key and simple celebration may not be possible.
Wash, our neighbor, is sending lechon despite my objection not to spend and send. He is such a nice fellow. The first time I met him, the two of us clicked right away. His wife’s nickname is Pizza.
A business associate also wants to bring lechon. Who says no to lechon? Ngayon palang gutom na ako.
I reminded the caterer to put lots and lots of garlic in the salpicao.
Baka naman gawing garlic with beef.
I chose a caterer that lives nearby para kahit traffic pwede silang maglakad.
We have the cutest giveaways for tomorrow. Cute but certainly not cheap. We have four kinds of giveaways. Souvenirs that are ordinary but made special because they are coming from our hearts.
My daughter chose the water bottles. Guests would be reminded of us every time they drink water. Water is life. Our business touches lives in so many different ways. We are able to provide employment to hundreds of people. They are able to live a decent life and provide for their families. They are able to send their children to school, to buy farm produce, manufactured goods and so on and so forth. Hundreds of thousands more employees benefit when a car is bought. The employees and suppliers of the manufacturer. The government benefits from our payment of taxes. In every sale, whether we sold at a lost or with a small profit, a bigger percentage goes to the government. We are all interconnected. We support each other’s life.
My favorite giveaway is towel. I want people to think of Ford EDSA when they are naked and vulnerable. After taking a shower, they would need something to make them warm, to dry them. We don’t sell clothes, but we provide families with protection, to keep them dry from the rain. When rubbed against their faces, the soft towel stirs a positive feeling. We want to be like that in people’s lives.
A company that brings positive feeling to families.
We are praying that tomorrow shines, not only in Metro Manila but most specially here at Ford EDSA.
Good luck Ma’am Annie!

Hi Pam,
I haven’t been feeling well lately, plus I’ve been extremely busy, attending to urgent matters.
