My meeting yesterday noon was at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City. They have security measures to ensure the safety of everyone.

RCBC Plaza- oh my buhay
RCBC Plaza’s narrow driveway

First, the cars that enter are checked by security guards along Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue. I know the guards have jobs to do but oftentimes they are irritating. Yesterday, the guard opened the van’s sliding door and looked inside for 2 seconds then slammed it. When I was leaving and waiting for my vehicle at the lobby, this guy with the big dog went past near me, very near in fact. I was standing there and he walked his dog too close to where I was so I moved away.

SEcurity - oh my buhay

Then he came back and stood nearby with his dog within inches of my legs. I glanced at his dog and I looked at him. I thought that was very rude. Do I look like a suicide bomber or shabu carrier? Yes, it’s his assignment to walk back and forth that long lobby, but it doesn’t give him the privilege to stick the dog’s nose on people’s legs. He should and must keep a safe distance. RCBC must also think of the safety of people from their dog and must review their guards’ lack of gentility.
