After my make-up was done, I got an umbrella and walked some 100 steps to our room. I thought we have 1.5 hours to relax but at 2:30 pm my kids started looking for me. Edmund and I quickly got dressed.
I wore the blue suede wedges I bought for the wedding.
Twenty steps and I made a U-turn. The blue wedges weren’t comfortable. I couldn’t walk properly and fast enough. Rather than risking it, I went back to the room, took off the wedges and I decided to wear the old pair of beige wedges I brought as spare. They were more comfortable. Kahit luma, no one would see them, no one would care.
My son was looking for me because he couldn’t button his shirt collar. I tried several times to button it but impossible. He was the one who bought this shirt but he only based it on the size of the body– medium. He didn’t check the size of the neck. Edmund went back to our room and it’s good he brought one more white polo shirt. It was a little big on Nyke but better big than small. At least he could button the collar and he wear the necktie properly. The looseness of the body couldn’t be seen because it was hidden.
It was time for the bride to wear her gown. The back part has covered buttons from the neck down to her waist. It was delicate and difficult to hold because the buttons were small. She was looking for me to help her get dressed.
A few months ago I asked her what kind of jewelries she wanted to wear. She would just borrow daw my simple studs and choker. Eh napaka-simple parang pang ordinary days lang. It was actually a big relief because I don’t have chunky jewelries.
Her shoes are simple and flexible. they’re not the specially made shoes to match the wedding gown. We bought them from Nordstrom in January. Good choice. She can wear this in any occasion, even to the office! Mas masusulit.
The white limousine arrived driven by a white gentleman about my age. The limo was for the bride, her bridesman and her three lovely bridesmaids.
Edmund and I drove to the venue in a separate vehicle.
The rain stopped as if someone had switched it off. Thank you po dear Lord.
Blue sky!
We were here this morning during the ingress and the sky was not this clear. I just couldn’t believe it.
The dark clouds disappeared. The heavens heard our prayers. Thank you po.
