1. I bought three of these glass ornaments from Austria. Baka kasi mabasag lang so I bought only a few.

2. Ever since I started traveling, table napkins were one of my favorite shopping finds. Lalung-lalo na nung bago pa lang ako naga-travel, they’re light to carry and light on the pocket.

3. Shopping with limited budget can be fun also. I was telling Edmund the other day about my early travels to Europe. I never went inside luxury brand stores like Chanel and the like. I enjoyed going to smaller souvenir and curio shops for little things that were more affordable. Things that I really enjoyed having. Like this tiny rooster from Austria. Buying expensive stuff is just a result of commercialism. One does not need to have thousands and thousands of cash and fat credit limit to enjoy shopping in foreign land.

4. There was a night market temporarily set up behind the cathedral in Vienna for the Christmas season. I enjoyed looking at the arts and crafts by artisans from Austria, not from China. A little bit more expensive but we have to appreciate their talents, skills, craftsmanship, coming up with original ideas, not copying from others.

I wanted to buy a few pieces pero ang bigat and my bags were already filled to the brim. The owner said they have these items available on line. I misplaced the flyer. My sister said similar items are available in the US.
