We first discovered Red Lobster restaurant in Queens, New York. There’s one on the ground floor of a small commercial building called Queens Mall, that is near the apartment of Angelina Bautista – Mehra. My kids instantly loved their food. That particular branch was always full of people most especially at dinner time, weekdays and weekends. A thirty minute waiting is standard. There was a time when we waited for an hour to get a table. The place could be very crowded and it was a bit stressful dining there during peak hours.
I went to Red Lobster last week at the Pacific Commons in Fremont with Aileen and Bong for dinner. We got there just on time, before the crowd started coming.
We had Lobster Pizza for starter
One their most popular dishes is the Garlic Herb Shrimps & Lobster
Thier biscuits used to have parmesan cheese but this did not have. Cost cutting maybe?
I ordered a set menu that comes with a cup of New England clam chowder. The kitchen staff should have wiped off the drips before serving it.
I was also given a plate of caesar salad. The lettuce was so fresh and crispy.
Aileen ordered the Seeaside Shrimp Trio. It had 3 kinds of shrimp dishes and a big baked potato.
Bong had the Shrimps and Scallop Pasta
I was too full from the clam chowder, salad and biscuits by the time my main course arrived. I ate all the shrimps and took home the two pieces of grilled chicken.
Garlic Herb Shrimps and Chicken
The three of us shared in this delicious Triple molten chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.
We were so bondat, still with so much food to take home.
