My son picked Red Lobster seafood restaurant for our last dinner in Oahu. I was tired and sleepy but I didn’t want to miss having dinner with them on our last night of holiday plus I also liked the biscuits and shrimps in Red Lobster.
The restaurant is a short taxi / Uber ride from Holiday Inn.
Even if we don’t look at Red Lobster menu, we more or less have memorized their dishes.
The best biscuits for me. I love the crust.
Oyen always orders the healthy stuff. This is fish taco.
This is their version of shrimp scampi– lemon butter with herbs.
Nyke always order their hearty feast. Takaw nya kasi. He shared the shrimps with his sister.
The three of us split a slice of key lime pie.
Instead of taking a cab, we walked back to the hotel. It was not very far, siguro we walked for 15 minutes, meron pang mga stops. It was dark but there were other people walking. Once we reached the main tourist avenue of Kalakaua, it was a lot brighter and some shops were still open.
We passed by the Waikikian Hotel. This was where the old Waikikian Hotel with the Grand Tahitian Village used to be. That’s where we stayed 23 years ago. It was demolished to give way to this new and more modern tower.
