Respect is common sense - Oh My Buhay

There are posters and billboards all around Bangkok saying that Buddha is not for decoration. The image of Buddha shouldn’t be on your bodies (tattoos).

It also says that RESPECT IS COMMON SENSE. I couldn’t agree more. Respect is common sense. It’s a very powerful message to each and every human being on the planet. We should respect each other’s religious beliefs. We should NEVER MOCK Christianity, Hinduism, Buddism, or Muslims, etc.
Let us respect other people’s beliefs. If some Christians want to walk while kneeling on gravel and sand to atone for their sins, let them be. It’s their knees. Let’s not call them gago or putang ina.

If they want to bring flowers and light candles and have a family picnic at their dead relative’s grave on any day or hour let them be. That’s their way of honoring, remembering, expressing their love and respect for the person who died.
