Edmund thinks the owners of Buda Bar in Manila got the bar’s name from Buda Castle, also called the Royal Palace or Royal Castle. It was completed in 1265 and served as the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest.
Autumn leaves cover a portion of the Buda Castle exterior wall.
We should also improve the looks of our tiangge stalls so they would look more presentable such as this souvenir stalls at the castle’s grounds.

One hundred years from now, if my blog still exists even if I am no longer around to update it, our great-great grandchildren could accidentally find this site and see this picture.

OMB, Will you be able to know how far is Pecsvarad, Hungary from Budapest. Two decades ago I had a friend in Manhattan, who was from Pecsvarad, Hungary. They were the Lazar family. His name was Sandor. Through your blog I was able to see his country, thank you very much. I suddenly remember my forgotten friend. I appreciate for sharing with us your travel in Hungary.
Hi Dee, Pecsvarad is approximately 186 km by car ( 2 hours drive) from Budapest. There are several good-looking guys named Sandor Lazar on Facebook. A few are from Hungary.
Hello, OMB: Thank you for the info. I really enjoyed reading your blog on Budapest, Hungary. While reading them, I felt I was travelling also. Thanks a lot for your interest in the country. A few will be interested to see Budapest, because it is not a well-known country. Decades back I want to study in University of Budapest, but did not materialize. Also, thanks for the joke, I enjoyed it.
