After dinner, we went around Rockwell, just window shopping, or shopping in case we found some nice things.
I entered this store when I spotted this blouse that had a touch of Filipiniana.
No tag price, I asked the sales lady how much this blouse was.
P9,500
My daughter tried on a few blouses at the Rhett Eala boutique store.
The price of this one was P9,500. Can you imagine? Just a blouse and yet nine thousand five hundred.
We were not aware at first who the designer of these clothes was. Only when I noticed the label on the blouse that I realized this was a local designer brand Rhett Eala.
Rhett Eala dreamed of becoming a fashion designer one day. He prepared himself by studying textile design for three years at the Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy.
His own clothes brand called Due, by Rhett Eala, could be found in Rustan’s. He incorporated the map of the Philippine Islands on the Collezione pants, shoes, shirts and bags.
My attention was more on this art.
Yen didn’t buy anything. She said the blouse was nice but….
I forgot what the “but” was.
