It sucks when I couldn’t remember where I placed my phone/s. My husband gets so frustrated because I always leave my phone anywhere around the house.
We were going on a 6 hour drive to Los Angeles excluding gasoline stops, body stretching and food stops so we planned on leaving at 8 am. We left at 11 am and came back at 12:30 noon because I left my phone.
We were half hour into our trip when I discovered I left my phone somewhere.
I told Edmund I left my phone but we didn’t have to go back because I have my other phone. Another half hour had passed when I became worried because I couldn’t remember when was the last time I’ve seen it. Oyen said she saw it on the table the night before. But I have two similar looking phones, same size, same color. My worry was I could have dropped it at the premium outlet. I started calling the three stores that I visited the afternoon before. I was hoping one of them found and kept my phone. Nope.
We went back to look for my phone. The 40 minute drive felt a lot longer.
Well, Oyen was correct. My phone was on the dining table. We rested for 10 minutes then started our road trip to L.A., round two.
It was a long drive to L.A.
We stopped for gas and food.

While Edmund gassed-up, I checked if I won in the Lotto.
Sorry not a winner. Sad face.

A Chinese girl washed her hands and didn’t even bother to turn off the water faucet. She just said “it’s not working”. She didn’t even try.
I pressed the faucet lever down, the water stopped. Annoying girl.
The temperature had dropped at around 4 pm.
We made a second stop when we were already in LA to gas up again. Also to stretch and avoid the heavy traffic on the freeway.
I got a cup of hot chocolate. Too sweet.
I phoned the front desk to inform them that we would be checking in at 9 pm. The guy who answered sounded gracious. Actually whether I showed up or not, I’ve paid them in advance for one night upon booking.
