We had no choice but to go out and bear Madrid’s summer heat otherwise we would be stuck inside the hotel. We followed the hotel’s direction to walk towards the right.
Although it was only a short walk from the hotel, the distance to the Palacio Real de Madrid seemed longer because of the heat.
I am seriously suggesting that policemen in Manila ride horses instead when patrolling the streets. They save on gas, save on car maintenance, and when it’s heavy traffic, the horses can walk on the sidewalk.
The glare and the heat were not conducive to posing for photos. It was just too hot in Spain during this season.
I tipped the lady Euro 2 and the torero or matador Euro 2.
What he was doing was difficult. And under the heat of this burning sun? I gave him Euro 2.
We continued walking towards the cathedral.
Guardia Civil, something from our history book
Felt like melting butter while my husband tried to find the right angle.

There was a very long line for tickets to the palace. I admire these tourists' determination and tolerance of the heat. I bet these people were from the North Pole.
The Palacio Real de Madrid or Royal Palace of Madrid has 135,000 square meters and has 3,418 rooms which make it the biggest palace in Europe in terms of square footage. It is the official residence of the royal family but is only used for state ceremonies.
Sobrang sulit na sulit na itong sombrero ko. I bought it in Lisbon for Euro 5, super sulit.
