We spent several hours at the Santa Claus Village. WE not only experienced snow on the ground but it snowed while we were walking around in the amusement park.
From negative 6 degrees, the temperature dropped by two more degrees.
Majority of tourists come from China.
The spirit of Christmas brings joy in people’s hearts. Imagine if it’s Christmas whole year round? Of course it can’t be Christmas all the time. What would happen to Holy Week, Valentines, Thanksgiving, etc. We need variety.
We went to Santa’s post office to buy a postcard for Nyke.
There are souvenir items for sale inside the post office, like this Christmas candles.
I grabbed a dozen of this Christmas tree ornaments but when the cashier required me to produce my original passport to give me a tax free deduction and admitted that these items were made in China, I put them all back.
Oyen writes Nyke a postcard while her dad tries to steal a nap.
Trying his best not to fall asleep.
From the post office, we continued to explore the village on our own with the aid of a map. I just followed Oyen and Edmund.
It started to snow.
We reached the reindeer park. Families with smaller children lined up to get tickets.
