We were all busy yesterday but we managed to go to church at 6:30 pm and had dinner together.
Edmund played golf in the afternoon. Oyen and I worked, and so was Nyke. I got home at 6:15 pm and only had a few minutes to go up to my bathroom, wash-up then leave again.
We caught the Homily but I am sorry, I didn’t listen. My mind was still busy with what we had to deal with at work that afternoon.
Oyen went with her friend somewhere after the mass. It was only Edmund, Nyke, and I who went out to get some pizza and pasta for dinner.
People think Ohmybuhay is about travel, food, restaurants. Hindi po, nagkataon lang na mahilig kaming kumain kaya laging merong picture ng food.
We went to Gino’s in Katipunan.
We wanted Burrata but to our disappointment, they ran out . We ordered dalandan juice, wala na rin daw. Muntik na kaming umalis.
I ordered Salted Egg pasta. I asked them to reduce the amount of pasta.
Nyke ordered this Pesto and Mushroom pizza, with kesong puti. Medyo the taste was too subtle for us. I didn’t taste the pesto. We ordered extra milano salami P120 for additional toppings but we have almost finished the pizza and wala pa yung salami. We had to follow up three times.
Edmund———– “Bakit ang tagal? Hihiwain lang yun”.
Omb————– “Hiwa na nga yun, ilalagay lang nila sa platito”.
Prosciutto pizza with arugula. We ordered extra prosciutto P120. I didn’t like the kesong puti kasi walang lasa. The leaves didn’t taste and looked like arugula. Sobrang baby pa?

Edmund put a lot of hot sauce, while I sprinkled mine with lots and lots of chilies.

I bought some medicines from the Mercury Drug Store below Gino’s.
We were home by 9:15 pm.
By the way, my husband won P10,000 from fun golf yesterday. When we were at the church, he took out some cash from his pocket and gave P1,000 to Oyen. He said
“nanalo ako ng ten thousand”. I asked for P1,000, he said “tart”. Then he hesitantly gave me a bill. Meron daw withholding tax na ten percent referring to the one thousand that I have taken. I have never done that before. I thought kasi he was really intending to give the three of us a thousand each when he gave Oyen the one thousand bill. Kala ko balato namin. Kaya gamely, I extended my hand and told him ako rin. Yun pala it’s for the collection box and not for us. Sorry I misinterpreted it. Pero I will no longer return the one thousand. I will keep it for my son. Thank you tart. Sana manalo ka uli.
