There’s a restaurant recommended by my daughter’s friend that she wanted to try but we couldn’t contact them. The concierge tried the whole day to contact them to get us a table but they were closed pala.
For our last night in Milan, we just walked along Via Emmanuelle. We saw this Italian restaurant with a Filipino waiter.
The photos of seafood displayed alongside the road attracted us to this resto.
Medyo we’re tired of eating pizza. I wanted rice.
This fish tasted like fresh mackerel.
Mussels are not good here, the one in Leon de Bruxelles and France in general are softer and tastier.
Filipino waiter in Milan. I forgot his name. I wrote it down on a piece of paper, will look for it. He speaks fluent Italian and according to him, he’s been living in Italy for 20 + years. Mahirap daw magkalayo, even if his wife daw is mabait, pagmagkalayo, merong nangyayari. Ewan kung anong nangyari. They’re now separated and he has a new wife he met in Italy. She’s no longer new, because they’ve been together for 10 years but have no child of their own.
The mushroom risotto was very good and didn’t need any accompanying dish.
I forgot the name of this restaurant. It’s beside the mall and the Duomo. I will look for the receipt.
I paid almost a hundred Euro including 10 euro tip.
