We checked in at the Seda Hotel. This would be our home for the next four nights up to the 31st. It was Edmund who chose this hotel most likely for its proximity to the Ateneo de Iloilo where the alumni homecoming would be held.
Small front desk
Hallway leading to the toilets and function rooms. It also leads to the back door going to the Ayala commercial establishments.
Our room is at the corner and is one of the bigger rooms according to the hotel staff. Still, the space is tight.
I am glad we have a large sofa otherwise I would really feel cramped because the room’s ceiling is very low, makes us feel claustrophobic. It looks high in the photo but it’s low in actual. The minimum ceiling height in residential is 2.3 meters. I don’t know in commercial establishments. It must be higher like 2.5 meters.
The room is not bad at all, I am glad he chose a premium room.
The desk is perfect for my use.
The tv is hanging too close to the bed. If you are not paying attention, you’ll smack your face right into it.
Bathroom is spacious. I wish they moved the wall instead to make the bedroom bigger by at least 12 inches rather than have dead and wasted space in the bathroom.
Spacious closet with room vault. When you travel, always take advantage of the room vault. Split your cash and credit cards. Keep in the vault those you don’t need yet.
