Sex is good but AIDS is on the rise - Oh My Buhay

Sex is good but AIDS is on the rise

There was a time when the world was in unison against the spread of AIDS. Massive media campaigns all over the world was evident. TV, radio, newspapers, magazines. There was no www yet during those days.

The number of people contracting AIDS on a daily basis NOW is unprecedented.
Before, there were only 84 recorded cases in the Philippines. Just last month, I saw on the news that 54 + cases are discovered DAILY. This is mainly due to young people’s carelessness and recklessness in unprotected sex. This is also due to this generation’s mindset of freedom of choice and adventurism.
The older men and women get it also from their partners thru transmission from the opposite sex. Based on the news, DOH said most of the cases in the Philippines was caused by men to men transmission. Meron ding women contracting the disease from their male partners. Who had sex with another man or who had sex with another woman, who had sex with another, and so on and so forth.

Many wives who developed ovarian cancer were said to have gotten the cause from their husbands.

You’ll never know what your partner does when he or she is not with you, so better practice safe sex.
Read this, always use si-oh-en-di-oh-em.
Check this out, exchange of saliva could also transmit unwanted diseases. A kiss is just a kiss if there’s no aids.
Keep this in mind— in many cases, the carriers don’t get sick, but they spread AIDS around.
And remember——- in some cases because the person’s immune system is strong, gestation period could last for ten years. Meaning, even if you had unprotected sex with a carrier ten years ago, one could still get sick ten years later.

MC is always feeling weak and is losing weight. She has difficulty finding a job because she’s always feeling sick. Looking like an anorexic, she went to see her doctor for a much needed check-up. She was dead scared, baka daw meron syang cancer only to find out that she has AIDS. When she confronted her husband, he admitted into living a promiscuous lifestyle. Having sex with men and women but mainly of the same gender. MC and her husband both have AIDS but she’s the one suffering. The guy doesn’t look and feel sick at all. Naku, baka naghahasik pa sya ng lagim. For all we know, he’s still having sex with other men and women and spreading AIDS without the knowledge of his partners #victims.

The world needs a renewed commitment to fight AIDS thru massive information campaign. Spread the word: Careful.
