The lobby of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel is bedecked with dozens of Christmas trees in different sizes. Since I am paranoid about the danger of fire from Christmas lights, I inspected what kind of lights they installed, they’re tiny led lights which are long lasting and less of a fire hazard because their wattage are very low.
They have a small section for selling gingerbread houses from the smallest to the biggest.
These three Santarinas are assigned at the lobby promoting the tree planting project dubbed “A Gift of Life” . For P150 donation, the hotel, in cooperation with Haribon Foundation will plant a tree somewhere in Tanay Rizal. Call 840-0884 for inquiries.
