It’s always a delight going to Costco. Even if I don’t have specific items in mind to buy, it’s easy to fill a cart and melt a credit card.
Five meters from the entrance, I got stuck na agad, picking up things and dumping them into my shopping cart. A set of chopping boards (sangkalan) for Antonia, two baking trays (as if I know how to bake), and santa.
Kung hindi ko lang naalala na Oyen would definitely scold me if I buy a new laptop, siguro bumili na naman ako. I bought one kasi na too advanced for my limited tech IQ, I couldn’t figure out how to use it.
Costco is the exclusive supplier of my jungle panties. If I don’t stop eating halo-halo, I would end up an XXX Large.

Why would one wear a leopard-printed panty? Maraming babae mahilig sa print na ito. I have no shoes, bra, bag, blouse, scarf, pants to match this print. I will never wear this, baka kagatin pa ako ng mga aso namin.
This diamond ring priced at $52,000 plus 9 % tax must be the most expensive merchandise here in Costco. Sino kaya ang bibili nito? Kung ike-credit card nya, tapos minimum pay every month, baka 275 years fully paid na nya ito. Pwede na sya ulit bumili ng isa pa.
It’s fun to go to Costco on weekends. There are so many food tasting carts. Nakakatuwa at nakakabusog.
This mango tango juice / smoothie is surprisingly good.
Normally I am hesitant to try juices kasi minsan ek ang lasa. But this one from Odwalla is not so sweet and do not taste like medicine or carton. Masarap with lots of ice.
I went back 3x for this. Masarap din sya. I will bring home to Manila a pack. Oyen would love this organic Monterey ravioli.
Eto rin ang sarap, Korean BBQ. The one cooking was a Filipina. She saw the big Santa Claus on my cart and she told me baka daw mawala sa shipment because her sister told her daw that it’s so chaotic at the Port in Manila. Nawawala daw yung mga cargo. Natakot tuloy ako. Baka Holy Week na wala pa si santa ng buhay ko.
My first grandchild will surely get one giant teddy bear from me.
From Costco, we proceeded to Lowe’s. We picked two sets of curtain rods, 8 pieces of curtains and 4 sets of sheer for Aileen’s living and dining areas.
Lowe’s has a wide selection of magazines to help builders and planners. I will go back to get one for my future cottage house.
Aileen was actually the first one who spotted the Santa in Costco. She also got one for herself, however her husband didn’t like it.
He told her “hindi lahat ng Santa na makita mo eh bibilhin mo”.
When we got home, he repeated the same sentence. His worry is where to store it kasi their house, including the garage, is full of stuff. Aileen has the same answer “Ang cute eh”.
Question mark??? How do I bring this santa home?
