Pocket money is for souvenirs. Cannot be too kuripot when you’re travelling and seeing new places. You want to remember this day, so buy some cute stuff that would tell you a story about your visit. Unless you are prepared to spend, don’t buy too much expensive stuff that you would regret buying 3 weeks later when your credit card bill arrives. Lucky for this trip, I successfully refrained from using any of my credit cards. I limited my purchases to my cash on hand.
These busts were displayed outdoors. Actually I find them interesting except I wouldn’t know where to display them. Baka katakutan pag madilim.
I grabbed this the minute I saw it. Sobrang bigat, I couldn’t even move it. Wag na ito, mahirap iuwi.
My son bought a wall decor. I asked where he would hang it, sa room daw nya.
He has a job na, so he gets to buy things on his own.
Parang medyo nice din ito pero yung color palette nya, hindi ko sure kung bagay sa bahay namin.
This is a peppercorn or tea grinder. It’s cool actually but I forgot to buy one.
There’s a tiangge-looking stores along the road to the bus parking area. I took a picture of this store while I was walking by and the guy followed me asking for 10 lira as picture fee. I didn’t pay him, I just gave him a serious look.
I bought this tiny ceramic cup from Ephesus souvenir shop.
Free souvenir I picked up from the ruins. The small clay is from Troy while the bigger one is from Ephesus.
