Using some downtime before our dinner with my sister, we explored the other side of the old strip mall located just across the street from Sonoma Valley Inn. We saw a department store called Mccaulou’s located at the Sonoma Plaza. I like `old town shopping places like this. Very quaint.
It looks like it’s been here from the beginning of time, and yes indeed, this company was founded in 1963. They have 14 branches scattered in Sonoma and Contra Costa and in Oakland.
As soon as we entered the store, I told Edmund we should buy at least one item to patronize them. We don’t want this retail store to lose their business so we should help by at least buying something. Wala kasing tao when we came. Kami lang dalawa.
My husband was so excited to have found a checkered winter jacket for $50. Last night kasi at Black Bear Diner, we noticed that practically every guy eating there was wearing a checkered jacket parang pang midwest.
