When my husband asked if I wanted to go with him to Baguio, I readily said yes although my schedules for that week, March 13-18 were full. He and his friends were joining the Corporate Cup (golf tournament). He bought their uniform t-shirts from the Under Armour store in Livermore, had them embroidered here in Manila.
Edmund decided to drive instead of bringing a driver. The last time he brought a driver with him, Mas napagod daw sya. Everytime Edmund would tell the driver something, the driver turned his head and looked at Edmund, while they were on the road. Delikado.
So last March 13, the two of us brought the Explorer and drove up to Baguio. He told me travel time is shorter because aside from SCTEX, TPLEX is now passable. I wasn’t able to count the number of hours but it still took us at least 5 hours because we stopped for lunch at Max, and we made one more break.
The local authorities should stop the residents from their old practice of burning field grass.
There was a little bit of traffic congestion before the la Union welcome arc due to some repainting of the arc itself.
This beautiful welcome arc is authentically Benguet.
We’re hoping to reach Baguio before sundown but there was a portion along Kennon Road that was under construction. Only one lane was passable. Cars had to make a full stop.
