I went to a gun store and inquired about shotguns. I am just thinking maybe it’s good to have a shotgun at the farm. I will give it to the gate keeper.
The store manager asked me: “Kanino ipa-pangalan yung license?”
Me—–“Sa akin”.
That’s also his suggestion. Kasi daw what usually happens is that pag-iinteresan nung guard, kasi akala kanya na yung shotgun. Kadalasan, ibinebenta. Tutoo yan, lagi yan nangyayari, paghinahanap ko minsan yung baril nila, wala na, ibinenta pala.
Edmund told me it’s now more difficult to renew licenses and more so if it’s a new application. Mahigpit daw ngayon.
The price of the shotgun is P25,000 but they have a promo until March 8. It’s discounted for P16,800.
Me——-“Panakot sa farm”.
Guy——“Mam, hindi na natatakot ngayon ang tao sa baril. Nung araw, pero ngayon, wala ng takot ang mga kriminal”.
Me——-“Oo nga, kung high sa drugs, wala sila sa sarili. Hindi nga matatakot”.
I was given a list of requirements for gun license application. It would cost P11,000 at least. Plus I have to attend a seminar, plus I have to personally appear in Crame twice.
The guy who supplies doors and windows mentioned to me that Glock 380 is suitable for women. Magaan lang daw. Since I was at the gun store already, I inquired na rin for my personal protection and for firing range.
The store showed me this one, it’s so light, parang laruan lang. It’s not made of steel, tila plastic lang or fiberglass. I could carry this in my hand bag.
I think the list price is P35,000.
Guy——“Mam, hindi pwedeng meron ka lang baril. Kailangan kaya mong iputok”.
Me——-“Marunong ako. Nag-attend ako ng seminar and nagfiring range kami kasama ko mga anak ko”.
Guy——“Kailangan once a month”.
Me——-“Matraffic kasi ngayon”.
Guy——“Kailangan kabisado nyo yung baril. Yung iba, nanginginig na sa takot, hindi nila alam iputok, iisipin pa kung paano, wala na”.
Guy——“Kailangan kaya mong iputok”.
Nagmayabang naman ako.
Me——-“Sharp shooter ako”.
