Six hour road trip with sunflower seeds - Oh My Buhay

Six hour road trip with sunflower seeds

December 27, 2017 Wednesday

We left Anaheim after our lunch at Bubba Gump.  Off to our next destination  — Las Vegas.  This would be the first time that we’re going on a road trip from LA to NV.

What should have been a three hour and forty nine minutes travel time according to Waze took much longer due to the moderate traffic, in some areas, heavy, wee stops, gas stops, and “I-got-lost-where-do-we-exit” detours.

We now rely heavily on Waze.

And look at those giant rubber tires.

We saw a Ford dealer that’s adjacent to a Nissan dealership. In the Philippines they don’t allow another brand to be side by side with a Ford dealership.

Edmund needs packs and packs of sunflower seeds while he’s driving especially long drives. He feels sleepy as soon as he gets into the car. Eating sunflower seeds keep him awake. But I worry that his concentration and alertness while driving are affected because his hands are busy opening the seeds.

He discovered that there are available extra long variety.  According to him he likes extra long better because it’s easier to hold and crack. Do I like extra long?   I don’t think so.
