Slow-down and avoid stress - Oh My Buhay

Slow-down and avoid stress

I spent an hour on the phone talking with a long time friend of ours, another Jun. Our topic was all about death of people known to us, sick people, and stress.

Nasermonan pa ako.

He said we should avoid stress and not magnify our problems. Masyado lang daw kaming mabait at mahiyain. Kung sa knaya daw yun, hindi nya papansinin yung problema. He has a good attitude.

He said we should slow down and just be content anyway hindi naman daw kami magugutom. He said he’s happy with his life. Kaya daw at 73, he feels stronger than his contemporaries na mga uugud-ugod na daw.
He didn’t inherit a lot from his parents, and his children are okay naman daw. He said we should slow down and just enjoy our lives. he has a point but it’s not that easy because we have businesses to run.
He earns a lot but he doesn’t have a business kaya it’s easy for him to say “slow down, that’s enough”. When you a have business that demands close attention and full dedication, it’s not about money, it’s a responsibility and commitment. Sino ba gustong ma-stress.

Sabi nya, he doesn’t like people who go abroad to seek greener pastures. Ang sarap sarap daw ng buhay dito sa Pilipinas. Again, it’s easy for him to say that. He has a valid point, but it doesn’t apply to all. Different circumstances and situations.
