Time to board for Manila.
There were huge vases filled with fresh orchids located just before the entrance to the gate.
Yen was hesitant to place the sticky rice in the overhead bin because they might get crushed by heavy luggage.
This plane looks quite new. The seats are 1-2-1. Oyen and I occupied the middle seats.
I was feeling a little claustrophobic at first because there were some corners and dividers and the tv was too close to my face. The extra space underneath the tv proved nifty for my handbag.
I began to appreciate the distance between the tv screen and my face. It was perfect afterall.
Good in flight movie selections took away my restlessness. The flight was a little over three hours and yet I was so inip na.
I had two plates of Hainan chicken rice at the airport lounge, and I chose a chicken meal on board. Crooook crooook crooook.
For almost two hours I entertained myself by watching this light romantic movie Overboard. It is about a spoiled son of one of the richest men in the world. He loves to party with gorgeous women. His crew called a carpet cleaner to vacuum and clean his room at his yacht. He got mad at the cleaner played by Anna Farris and pushed her overboard. That night, he fell off his yacht and woke up on a beachside not remembering his name, who he is, where he’s from. Eva Longoria plays a supporting role as friend of Anna Farris.
The sticky rice arrived home intact ready for eating (again).
