SOMA StrEat Food Park - Oh My Buhay

The NBA game starts at 7 pm and it is only 5 pm. We have time to grab food. The South of Market (SOMA) StrEAT Food Park is two short blocks from the parking on our way to CHASE Center. My son wants to check out the food trucks. He had been here daw once a few years ago. My concern is the cold, sobrang mahangin, ang ginaw.

SOMA Streat Food
Nice place for younger people to have a quick meal, drink beer, or hang out with friends.

This food park in District Six supports start-ups in the food industry, mobile restaurateurs, and those who cannot afford yet to put up a full service restaurant. The group of food trucks is rotated to give chance to other budding entrepreneurs.

The food truck concept allows small businesses to thrive while offering good food at reasonable prices. Outdoor dining also mitigate the pandemic risks.

Sobrang ginaw.  I cannot bear to eat outdoors because the wind is chilling my bones.   I underestimated the temperature.  I left my thick winter coat in the car.  Etong suot ko eh pambahay lang which my husband found in Costco.  He was able to convince me to get it, nung una ayaw ko kasi sabi ko parang mumu. Masarap daw pambahay, eh masarap nga para akong nakakumot.

I see why my son likes this place, pang-estudyante.  Cute.

Merong Pilipino,  sayang sarado si The Sarap Shop.

Nyke decides to get food from this truck.  Isang bandehadong ginisang brussel sprouts.
