The Princess Cruise we are joining sails from Seattle tomorrow. It’s not wise to arrive on the same day as the sailing date as many things could delay the flight, resulting in a missed boat.
After two months of not knowing whether we would be able to cruise, we are now in Seattle for one night prior to our Alaskan cruise tomorrow. There’s still a lingering fear that I could be carrying the virus.
We checked in at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. I didn’t pay much attention to the reservations because I let my sister-in-law do the bookings. Only after we walked outside the hotel and saw the girl statue did I realize this was the same hotel Edmund and I stayed at in May 2016 when he got sick and didn’t enjoy our short vacation.

After checking in, we went down to look for a place to eat. There’s a hotpot restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel but it’s not owned and operated by Grand Hyatt. There was a long wait but we decided to wait patiently.
