My son was the one in charge of leading the prayers before the noche buena. Nahinayang ako I didn’t record him praying before our meals on December 24 midnight. I concentrated also in our prayers that’s why I didn’t think of taking pictures or video. His words were meaningful and touched on the biggest family challenge we had this year. He thanked God for helping us surpass it.
Our family had our own share of problems this year. Many days and nights were spent with anxiety and feelings of uncertainty. We were afraid of so many what ifs. We drew our strength from the belief that there’s someone bigger than our problems who could help us. We went through our days full of prayers of hope and gratitude.
O star of wonder, star of night,
Star with royal beauty bright,
Westward leading, still proceeding,
Guide us to thy perfect Light.
Amen.
Feliz Navidad y Prospero Año Nuevo to you and to your lovely family po miss Annie 🙂 May our good Lord grant you all your heart’s desires.
