My husband drinks tea when at home. But when’s he outside, he drinks coffee. For the past three years na, he developed the habit of drinking Starbucks coffee. It started with a cup, then two cups kasi he would buy midday, when he’s in the office, he would send the driver out, or when’s he driving, mag da-drive through or take out sya.
When we were in the US, he told me baka daw the Starbucks employees were already wondering why he’s not been picking up cups. I told him, Starbucks sales would drop.
Lately, after we’ve had breakfast, nagugulat ako, bigla na lang ipapasok ni Antonia yung coffee nya. The first time, I just thought where did this come from?
Aba the other morning, the same thing happened,
“Sir eto na coffee nyo”.
And when I came home, I found another cup on the kitchen island.
Starbucks sales must be booming.
