It’s not very me to walk into a steakhouse, by myself most especially, to eat steak. But I did it yesterday night in Tagaytay. I only had corn for lunch so by 5 pm I was hungry. I wanted to eat at Antonio’s but they were closed so I explored a new place. My heart wanted to go to Firelake Grill for Angel Hair Pasta, Grilled Prawns and Shiitake but I controlled myself and went to Steaktown located at the Lake Hotel.

Steaktown- oh my buhay

My expectations were in the medium range. And I was correct.
The ambiance is casual.

All their main courses include salad bar, soup of the day and dessert.

They gave me three slices of garlic bread and a big bowl of garlic soup, both I couldn’t finish.

Tagaytay newspapers entertained me while I waited for the main course

And here it comes……. I ordered Steak and Prawns. The serving/size is just right for me.

The taste was surprisingly okay, the only mistake I had was I told the waiter I wanted Medium Well. I did not know that the steak would be served on a sizzling plate which overcooked the steak.

Ice cream dessert is supposed to be included but I didn’t let them serve it because I was filled to the brim.

All this for P620 all inclusive. Not bad at all.
